Hm! I helgen var jag sjuk och tog det lugnt, än en gång fick jag få det bekräftat för mig själv att jag klarar inte av att vara själv! Det går bara inte, jag funegerar inte då, jag blir uttråkad och på enormt dåligt humör och allt känns skit bara. Att jag känner så kan också bero på att det är november nu, den mörkaste, fulaste och den mest meningslösa månaden på hela året! Tur att man har så bra vänner och att det finns så mycket bra musik. Åkte och träffade E och vi gick på bio och sen gick vi hem till A och spelade tp, det var kul som allltid, vi spelade gitarr och sjöng också, sen gick vi på en skogspromenad och fortsatte att sjunga eller kanske bara skrika.

Jag kanske ska få ett piano snart!!!!! Jag har nog längtat det här sedan jag var fem år gammal! Åh jag blir så glad! Barnsligt glad!

Man hittar ju precis vad som helst där! Jag är fortfarande sjuk kanske till och med värre än igår och det är lite läskigt, jag måste ju klara tentan på fredag. Men jag håller på och dricker te med honung hela tiden och med en konstant hög mängd alvedon i kroppen känns det som att man kan klara av precis vad som helst! Kommer tyvärr missa Folket i Bilds releasefest på KGB där Parker Lewis ska spela och Erik kanske skulle bjuda på lite öl. Men men, på fredag blir det Sambassadeur och Mary Onettes - skön bonus efter en avklarad tenta.

Novemberkylan på Strand

Jag är så trött på att skriva bloggen på engelska, det suger verkligen. Det blir bara fel och helt oläsligt. Så härmed slutar jag med denna nymodighet. Nu är jag sjuk, säkert bacon-feber så jag tänkte sammanfatta helgen.

Jo. I fredags var vi på Strand och kollade på Casiokids och Rigas. Det började med Rigas, det såg faktiskt ut som att sångaren i bandet var jättefull, det var hur kul som helst!

Så kul var det! I lördags blev det King Kong förståss men då glömde jag sätta in minneskortet så det blev inga bilder. Det var en mycket rolig och svettig kväll som avslutades med ny bekantskap och diskussioner om basket och dylikt. Sen på söndagen åkte jag, Erik och Anna till Drottningholm och kollade på fina trädgårdar och slottet! Vi skändade artilleripjäserna och tog kort på vakterna bland annat, mycket trevligt!

And again

I've got a normal cell phone from my friend Dawid yesterday! Now i finally have a color screen and a camera on the phone! Wow! Feels very luxurious! I was at Carmen yesterday with some friends, we were drinking beer and talking a lot, and i met some people that i met there for two years ago and we had a crazy after party at my old student room at Gärdet. They thought that my name was Sergei. Later, me Amanda, Katerina and their friends went to Baba Sonic! Don't ask why we just did! And it was actually fun! I took vaccine against bacon-flu yesterday so I didn't felt so good when i woke up in the next morning (today), extreme hang over and also pain in the neck and pain in my whole body. So I decided to skip the school today and went to Erik. We cooked noodles with tofu! Now we are going to watch a scary movie, we don't which yet maybe The Host or Them.

Meltdown

It's strange while sleeping very drunk the dreams are so real. I woke up and thought the dream was real for so long time that it felt very weird. I dreamed that I was an inventor and constructed a flying bed, people liked it but soon they started to fell from their beds while flying so I really tried to do something about it but I could solve and it was so frustrating. When i woke I was afraid off falling down from my bed.

By this moment i've completed 40 pages on the report. And it will be more. This is madness, I've never written anything like this before. Yesterday I almost got a meltdown in my head after concentrating on the report for 8 hours. So I just had to stop so I went to Agnes at her birthday party. My present was Grizzly Bears latest album, I hope she likes it. They did delicious small dishes and sweetie cookies. I can't recall last time I ate tapenade, I really missed it! I drink everything I could get and almost passed out. And it was very fun, I really like to hang out with Elias and Agnes they are so nice, but unfortunately we meet very rarely. We danced until 4 in the morning to old indie hits and new ones.

A wish

In a perfet world all indie clubs always play No Time For Us or Old In Just One Day in the end of the night! I want a Broder Daniel after party!

Can't sleep

I just watched Rushmore, for the first time, what a wonderful movie and I wander why I haven't seen it before?? It took few years for me to finally see it after I heard about the movie for the first time and I have seen almost all other We Anderson movies. Well, thank you SVT, as soon as possible i will pay the television license, which is mandatory in Sweden but I know very few people who actually pay it.

Little Big Adventure are actually pretty good they are doing low fi, electro pop, and its something more. They played at a new club Family Affair; I hope they play again somewhere soon.

Subway crackles

I really don't get, why some people should turn up their MP3 players so that their headphones crunch and the stupid Euro-disco music is heard throughout the whole bus or train. Don’t they mind at all about their surroundings? They don't care what people will think about them when they hear some wallop of e-type so people around must turn away to almost vomit. Today the things went really ugly at least for me anyway. I sat down in the beginning of a metro cart, started to read my exciting book and suddenly a woman sat opposite to me and began to crackle with her cheap head phones. I stood up and walked away further in the wagon, peace and quiet for a few seconds and suddenly a young guy from somewhere behind me begins to crackle. What a hell? I was almost going to take out my machete. Traumatic. It’s not just that i have to spent up to three hours on the public transport in Stockholm every day but I have to endure such a torment? I yearn for days when I will live in the middle of Stockholm, then I'll ride a bicycle instead of going to metro, I am not going to pay seven hundred crowns for SL to get stabbed in a metro-cart filled with crackle and e-type covers. I don't get it, what kind of music taste people in the subway really have? It's little bit of this and little bit of that but mostly elevator music and euro disco hits. What ever now I’m living alone for one week, and it is going to be great!



Today i cooked a nice dinner! Fried salmon with boiled potatoes and spinach sauce!

Concerts

There were many concerts this week. And I went to most of them. Tutankamon och Blind Terry played at Debaser Medis and yesterday it was Bridal Shop at Southside. I liked Blind Terry a lot and song voice of Adam Alenius is always so beautiful! Bridal Shop was like ecstasy yesterday! Probably they are one of the best pop-bands in Sweden today. Unfortunately I didn’t had my camera with me, I had no time to go home to pick it up or i was to hang overed yesterday to go anyway from Eriks flat at Gärdet. We danced all night at Friday and I bought three thousand glasses of beer, probably I have stolen as many beers as I bought as well. We woke up and couldn't move; we just lay down and looked at the pictures from Friday. Then we played Trivial Pursuit and I won! Score! Later on I went to Katerina and everybody was there after few sips of beer we went to Southside. I took pictures from Sofia’s camera hopefully she’ll send them to me.

Expectations and exemptions

Yesterday I was completely exhausted by all report writing and went to Anna. She cooked a very good and healthy dinner. We also watched "Vem vet mest" (Who knows best) and bake an apple cake! We also listened to her cd:s, mostly northern soul, Pet shop boys and Jesus and mary chain. I haven't seen Anna for ages and it was really fun. Later we went to Landet to see that girl-band and I bought a cloth bag with the band pressure on it. Finally I've got one, but I still need one with BD on it. We met Dawid, Per and Amanda there and after the short concert we continued to drink beer. It was a quietly evening, end of the month, waiting for the salary or "csn" so we didn't continued to other clubs, or yes we did, we went to Bonden but stayed there for only half hour before they closed. It was invaded by kids.

Today was a very funny day. Me and Dawid decided to eat sushi-buffet in town. And we stayed there for 6 hours!!! We get there at one o'clock and went at seven. Crazy but very nice, we ate and talked, mostly talked for hours, it is the best way to kill time when you are hung over! At around five o'clock one restaurant employee asked us to pay more for they started evening supper that we just begun to eat, actually much better than the lunch food. No, I am not going to eat anything for weeks.

The band is playing at Strand and it is for free! Much better than Baba i guess. I should really stop reading old Sonic magazines at night and sleep (last week i bought five issues for only 60 SEK). IN one issue they listed albums of the year 2004, Arcade Fires "Funeral" reached only 21:st or 22:nd place, I was really mad about it. Probably all other albums who came over the Funeral is almost forgotten today! Have you forgotten Arcade Fire? Even kids love Arcade Fire. Still. Another annoying thing.. One quasi pretentious author, (surely a freelancer) gave Patrick Wolf "Magic Position" a grade 6 of 10. Can you believe it? And the last straw was all the mudslinging in the article, the author accused Patrick Wolf of being or become mainstream by his alst album. Today we all know it is totally nonsense. But I really like old Sonics, yesterday i read and article about Andrew Bird it was from 2007 and it was interesting, some of their articles are still good! Sonic should really try to be the best Swedish music magazine.

I woke up really late today, around one o'clock, I can't sleep at nights anymore it is no good, but I expected it. I am so glad i found those Sonic magazines. But now - back to work. I am going to write my best scientific report ever!! Big times!

Where do you go

I've got an 8 years old cell phone now! Wow! It still works, but not so good. It shuts down basicly every time i press buttons to fast, it is very sensitive, just like me! So i kind of like it and not getting so annoyed when it shuts down for the two hundred thirty second time. It is also red. Anyway I've just started to re-collect all the numbers so give me yours! One of few numbers called me yesturday when I was in the lab (it will never end) and surprisingly it was Jonathan! He was in Stockholm and I've been also invited to hang out with Katerina and Amanda.

Me and Jonathan visited the Americal Apparel and I almost got blind there and quickly bought a t-shirt to get out of there. Then we went to Galleri Kontrast and later to a kafe at Hornsgatan. We ate thai for dinner, very good and extremly cheap also at Hornsgatan. Then we headed to Katerinas flat. It was nice and old with high ceiling. Litle later Amanda showed up, Jonathan went to Hanna and we took some beers and talked about good old times when Ace was a hipster club and all the drama at Baba Sonic. It was very fun and giving conversation, so much just floated up, common friedns courious facts and so on. It was very nostalgic so decided to go to Baba Sonic! And we did! It still the same, indie-kids and everyone is basicly knowing each other. The guards were nice for once. But! They played crap songs, just few indie classics and allways want indie classics when I am at Baba Sonic, but they mostly played "hissmusik" (elevator music). I miss times when they always played Tell No One About To Night at Baba, every Wednesday, it was a rule. But actually they played Common People!

Well now I am almost dead and must work with the never ending project.

One thing

Now it's just one thing on my mind. My new litle obsession. It is only five or litle more weeks left until November 26!



I was in a book store today (Åhlens) and I was looking for one special book, i couldn't recall the book name but it was a roman about young people in Stockholm. I really must find that book. I also browsed through a book called 1001 Albums You Should Have Heard Before You Die, and it really sucked except some few albums, it included for example Arcade Fires Neon Bible and Funeral and very few other high lights but the authors missed so much that it became very annoying. Now I am going to write my own book in the same genre until they sue me.

Pung-helg

This weekend was the craziest one in my life. At Friday I met D and we ate sushi-buffet at Gamla Stan then we went to a birthday party. Later we went to a club Strand and become very drunk. We danced in to the other people and a small riot on the dance floor started, the guards came and it all stopped. Later on when we were heading back to the metro, D was attacked by two or three drunk "svennebanan" they were uggly and another riot started. Later on the headway (Hornsgatan) a black amercian jeep stopped in front of us and people in black jackets took D in to the car and went away with no explanations who they were or where they were going to. I called the police and explained everything, the black was from the subway security and they were hunting scribblers.

And yesturday I was going to Erik to watch a movie and drink drinks but on my way to him I was robbed by some kids with knifes. They only managed to take my cellphone and then they run away. One beautiful police interegated me and they had a big black police dog that tried to pick up track after rubbers. This was so crazy!

Askö 2

So I am back from the iland. It was one week of hard work, delicious food, VHS-movies and some wine with classmates at the evenings. It was really nice, when we went there it was still kind of warm but now it really feels like autumn, dark, cold and wet. I need to get out of here or bury myself in work.

That was almost a view from my window, we had our own rooms.

We spent most of the time in the lab, analysing. One day last week worked from eight in the morning to eleven at night, it was horrible and I made it worse by drinking to much wine at the dinner so I did everything wrong when we had to continue after the dinner.

On Saturday we went for a walk, here can you see all the garbage which flowed in from the sea, we even found an empty bottle of russian beer from 2004

I must also add that Grizzly Bear's latest album just gets better and better the more you listen to it, it kind off melts in to you and then it is stucked in there. The good news are they are going to play in Stockholm in November and it is soon. Something to look forward to!

I am leaving now

I am leaving to the archipelago tomorrow already! Luckely I checked my e-mailbox for few moments ago, otherwise I would have missed the trip. I thought that I was goign to go to the Hermans a vegan restaurant in Stockholm with my friedn Erik tomorrow and later we planned to go to the cinema and watch Flickan som lekte med elden - a second movie from swedish bestseller Stieg Larsson. The forst movie was really good, we both liked it but now we will have to wait at least one week before we can wee it.


Askö

It all came as a surprise but i really like it. I want to to go to Askö - the iland we are going to stay at for one week and do our boat trips to measure things and ride bycicles around the iland and maybe even swimming in the sea and so many other things. I have missed beeing there, it is a beautyful place and this time I will bring my Nikon with me and shoot thousands pictures! I am looking forward to the trip it is going to be really great and I really need a brake just form everything and everyone, it has been a lot off things going on and I need to clear my mind and think over things and Askö is the best place I know for such things. I relly need to buy a house in the archipelago when I finally have grown up.
